How to link your bank account:
- On the home page, click on "Connect Account" or "Reconnect Bank".
- On the page titled "Securely Connect Your Bank Account", click the "Next" button.
- We use a data provider, Flinks, to securely connect to your bank accounts.
- Select your bank. If you can't find your institution in the list, search for your bank in the search bar at the top of the page.
- Log into your bank. The screen may take 10-60 seconds to load. You may be prompted to authenticate your log in session using your bank's app or two-factor authentication
- After successfully logging in, Flinks will process your banking information. This typically takes 1-5 minutes to complete
What to do if you encounter errors:
Sometimes, you may encounter errors during bank account connection. If you get a general error, you should try again in 30-60 minutes.
If you continue to encounter errors, please reach out to our customer support team under the Support section of the app so that we can look into it for you. Please include screenshots of the error message so we can better assist you.
Troubleshooting tips:
If you can't connect to your banking institution, try the following:
- Refresh the page
- Disconnect your existing bank (if applicable) at the bottom of the first page
- Ensure that your login credentials (username and password) are correct
- Call your bank and ask them about it
- Try again!
Why you might continue encountering errors:
Please note that the bank login portal is third-party software and we don't have the ability change whether or not your login is successful. Oftentimes, the best solution is to re-try later.
Occasionally, bank firewalls can block connection to certain accounts. Oftentimes, these issues resolve on their own, but it can take some time - sometimes minutes and sometimes several days.
