Bree connects to most major Canadian banks via secure third-party services, Flinks and Plaid, to safely verify your income and manage your loan activity.
I see my bank listed — why isn’t it working?
Even if your bank appears in Flinks or Plaid, Bree may not support it. Some banks or credit unions may fail to connect or verify due to their account access or security settings.
If your bank appears in the list, but:
- The connection isn’t going through
- You're stuck on a loading screen
- You're getting an error after logging in
It’s possible that Bree doesn’t support your specific bank for now — even if it’s technically listed by Flinks or Plaid.
Which banks are supported?
We currently support these Canadian banks and credit unions:
- Royal Bank of Canada (RBC)
- Toronto Dominion Bank (TD)
- Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank)
- Bank of Montreal (BMO)
- Tangerine
- Servus
- KOHO / First Data Kono Sur
- Desjardins
- Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC)
- Simplii
- Alberta Treasury Bank (ATB)
- Windsor CU
- PC Financial
- Conexus Canada
- Wealthsimple (Support may vary by card)
If your bank is on this list, Bree should connect. Some connections may still fail due to bank security or access policies.
